Danbury’s First Lady being honored during

Community Recognition Luncheon


Danbury – CT – Phyllis Boughton, First Lady of Danbury returns as Master of Ceremonies to host Families Network of Western CT, Inc.’s 11th Annual Community Recognition Luncheon.  The event “Celebrating Community Partnerships” will be held Wednesday, April 29th, 2009 from 11:30 am – 2:00 pm will be held at the Amber Colonnade Room in Danbury.  Tickets are $30 per person and are still available by calling 791-8773.


“This luncheon is an excellent opportunity to integrate our celebration with National Child Abuse Prevention Month and Volunteer Appreciation Week, explained Sue Giglio, Executive Director of Families Network of Western CT, Inc., “We’re delighted to announce that Phyllis is being named our 2009  Jeannie C. Beck, ‘Above and Beyond’ Award recipient”.  This top honor is presented to a volunteer who demonstrates extraordinary effort, kindness and devotion to our prevention efforts.  “Mrs. Boughton is most deserving of this recognition as she continues to be a champion for children in our community, having previously served on our board of directors and continues to be one of our organization’s biggest supporters”.
